We are excited to announce that our 21 Day Fast begins on January 8th until January 28th.

Why Do We Fast?

Satan himself is the deceiver, and he corrupts the old man according to his lusts. Therefore, we need to put off the old man with all its lusts, deceit, and sins, and put on the new man, which is being renewed according to the image of the One who created him.

For the one new man, we need to put off the old man, that is, put off the former manner of life, for the old man with all that it includes is a damage to the church life, and the old manner of life (our culture) is a hindrance to our enjoyment of Christ and living the church life. Let us all learn how to put on the new man as we put off the old. In Ephesians 4 Paul tells us:

Ephesians 4:22-24: “that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”

As we stand in agreement, our Pastors Rev. Armando & Deanna Olmedo have provided the following instructions and prayer focus.

Fast options are as follows:

The first three days will be a FULL FAST, with liquids only for those who can. If you are taking medication, we advise you to continue taking them as prescribed by your physician.

On the fourth day we will continue our Corporate Fast as THE DANIEL FAST from 6pm (sundown) to 6pm (sundown) every day until we end on January 28th. The Daniel Fast (Daniel 10:2-3) consist of eating fruits and vegetables. Drinking only water and juice. NO MEAT, NO SWEETS, and NO BREAD (TORTILLAS).

During this time, our prayer focus will be the following:

1) The Healing of our Nation. 2) Our Government 3) The Great Revival 4) That God would break the chains of depression and oppression off His people. 5) That the yoke of immorality and lasciviousness is broken. 6. Pray that the truth of the Gospel will prevail over all lies and every deception will be uncovered. 7) Pray for our Leaders (Pastors). 8) For Financial Increase for kingdom business.

Corporate Fasting:

1 Samuel 7:5-6, Ezra 8:21-23, Nehemiah 9:1-3, Joel 2:15-16, Jonah 3:5-10, Acts 27:33-37

Remember that it is the attitude of a heart sincerely seeking the LORD. Be sure that in doing so God will respond with a blessing. May God greatly bless you as you fast!
